With a professional background in adult's social work, I have always been passionate about advocating for and assisting our elderly, younger adults with physical disability to remain independent in their own homes. By providing a range of support including some of the more tricky activities of daily living - housekeeping, shopping, sitting service, assistance to access the local community - family members can have more time to enjoy with friends and family than the demands of their care roles. Extra Help® can offer care and support solutions to everyone in our community. We offer a helping hand on a regular or ad hoc basis to elderly clients younger adults with physical disability, parents, and busy professionals. I am a social worker both by profession and personal nature. Since the age of 16, helping people has been my passion. I have enjoyed a successful social work career, being nominated for and winning awards for my community social work and even receiving a personal letter of gratitude from the director of Birmingham Adult Social Care as well as numerous feedback from citizens. I have gained a wealth of skills and expertise in the social care sector and combined this with a background in customer service industry business. Why I chose Extra Help Franchise?
