K-Pod is Geoff and Jodie Rickard 19s modern version of the old school 18teardrop 19 campers which were popular in the mid 20th century. 1CWe converted buses to motorhomes and learnt a lot about maximising the use of the space you had 1D says Geoff. 1CThen I came across a few teardrops on the internet and loved their simplicity, functionality and price! 1D Geoff set about creating his own teardrop. The prototypes were built of aluminium and this quickly progressed to a one-piece fibreglass mould that is watertight and looks so smooth and sleek. K-Pods are a step up from camping, without the bulk and towing hassles of larger caravans. They are extremely lightweight and so easy to manoeuvre. They provide everything you need in a small compact form. K-Pods are produced at Geoff and Jodie 19s workshop in Tauranga, and are part of the Karaka RV family.
