Susan Rumfitt is an independent jewellery consultant based in Harrogate. A Specialist in antique and contemporary jewellery and one of the team on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow. In 2005 Susan established her own Fine Jewellery Consultancy which involves the valuation, selling and acquisition of jewellery on behalf of clients, as well as courses and lectures on the history and design of jewellery and gems.

Susan hand picks beautiful pieces of jewellery for its quality and inspirational design. The collection includes contemporary and period costume jewellery as well as Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco through to Retro and dynamic new designs. Susan can help clients find a desired piece of jewellery by searching the international market and can advise and redesign or repair of inherited or unworn jewellery.

Susan provides a comprehensive service for sales, acquisitions, valuations for insurance, market value, probate and tax purposes. In addition to her own specialist area of jewellery, Susan engages a team of valuers in antiques and fine art.

Susan has an established career as a lecturer in the history of jewellery design and is a registered lecture for the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS). Courses, lectures and jewellery lunches are held at Susan's showroom in Harrogate and at selected venues around the UK to suit the client. These events can be arranged for charitable organisations or simply for your own personal enjoyment.
