Originating from Salford, Manchester, Anita Ryan is undoubtedly one of the North West 19s hidden musical gems. Standing at only 5ft 4 inches, Anita 19s soulful voice and domineering stage presence is in stark contrast to her feminine frame.

Anita was destined for a career in music. Deriving from a large Irish family, Anita 19s parents were both talented musicians who instilled their love of music into Anita.

Anita recalls, 1CAt seven years old, I 19d stare up at my Mum and Dad on stage and just knew I would follow in their footsteps 1D.

And that she did..! At only 16 Anita was part of a 40 piece choir that took her across Europe on a sell out tour, and only a year later Anita made the move to become a solo artist. Her talents didn 19t go unrecognised as Anita received private vocal tuition from the Manchester School of Music.

Anita 19s reputation quickly grew and she soon set off on her first tour as a solo artist, supporting the American soul singer Edwin Starr. On her earliest tour Anita says 1Csupporting a US soul star gave me the much needed experience of working with a live audience. I found out early on that I could capture their emotions and keep them in the palm of my hand 1D.

Anita 19s musical talent was undeniable and this led to her fronting bands from all over the world. The ease at which she performs soulful classics, combined with her natural ability to hold the audience in the palm of her hand led to Anita headlining high profile corporate events across the globe as well performing as a guest entertainer on luxury cruise liners.

Today, Anita specialises as a corporate event singer regularly headlining events at Manchester United FC, Manchester City FC and P&O Cruises among others.

Anita 19s musical talent has also led to her performing at high profile weddings across Manchester and Cheshire as well as headlining her own band.

Now firmly cemented as Manchester and Cheshire number one corporate event and wedding singer Anita 19s musical talent is firmly matched by her reputation in a thriving industry.
