"Blomdahl piercing is developed entirely upon what is known as “modern aseptic technique” within the health care industry. This means that it is not only the product that is safe, but the entire end-to-end process of piercing is designed to safely minimize the chances of infection. Blomdahl earring backs are always fixed at the tip of the earring post. This makes it easier for air to circulate around a new piercing and as a result it will heal better. You can choose from carefully selected medical plastic and titanium of pure medical quality. This reduces the chance of developing nickel allergy during piercing. Blomdahl’s piercing earrings have been designed so that the holes will be slightly wider in the beginning.
This accommodates for the hole to shrink when removed, to form a perfect fit when replaced with regular earrings without risk of tearing the skin."
