Maybe you have never experienced a massage before? That’s perfectly ok, everyone has a first time when it comes to seeing a massage therapist. At Columbia Massage, you can expect your massage to begin promptly with an introduction from our therapist, questions on what sort of massage you would like, and instructions on where to go and how to prepare for the massage.

Once you are prepared to receive the massage, our therapist will begin treat, focusing on the specific areas and concerns you discussed during the introduction. Treatment focuses on kneading sore muscles, manipulating tendons and ligaments, and mobilizing joints to find trigger points of pain, stiffness, and discomfort. The therapist will then work through those areas with specifically designed techniques to ease muscle soreness, promote pain relieve, and alleviate tension and stress-induced tightness.
