A Home Care provides assistance and support for people with disabilities of all ages to live in their own homes rather than in institutions or facilities. PCA services assist people with a physical, behavioral or mental health disability live independent lives. Personal Care Assistance provides hands on assistance and/or reminders and prompts with Activities of Daily Living, (ADL) which include the following: Dressing, Bathing, Grooming, Eating, Toileting, Transfers, Mobility and Positioning. A Home Care provides Homemaking Services through a waiver program offered through the county of residence. Homemaking services are general household activities provided by a trained homemaker when a client is unable to provide for themselves and keep a clean and safe living environment. Homemakers are to provide services that support clients well being and may include the following: Light housekeeping tasks, home cleaning and laundry.
