Time has an annoying habit of continually moving forward, regardless of our efforts to slow it down, and over the course of time, we just seem to accumulate ‘stuff’. More time passes and that ‘stuff’ gets old and out of date, or broken. ‘Stuff’ has now become ‘junk’, or ‘rubbish’. For whatever reason, we hang on to this ‘stuff’ that is really now ‘rubbish’, because we hope that maybe it will come back into date, that ‘old’ will become ‘new’ again, or maybe we can fix what was once broken. But often we never do. And more ‘stuff’ becomes ‘junk’, and we find a room to house all the stuff we hope will become new again, or that we can fix up again. And that room gits filled up, and we lose that room to all the stuff and rubbish that we keep putting off removing. Perhaps now we do want to get rid of all that stuff, but we look at the room full of junk and rubbish and it looks too big for us, and so we let it go, we pile more junk into the room and the cycle continues. You have a million things you would prefer to be doing than clearing out that junk. Spending time with your friends or family, or walking your dog down the beach. But that room of rubbish is still there, and it is still growing. To get rid of it all is a lot of hard work, and takes a lot of time, and it is just not something you want to do.
