We were inspired to create Maure (pronounced More) by our passion for exploring the world and the excitement of discovering the ideal present. New York City-based celebrity chef Maureen Cavalieri's vision for bringing her love of cuisine, presentation, and gifting to life has taken a revolutionary turn with the launch of Maure. Inspiring by their travels, the Maure crew has collaborated with craftspeople all over the world and right here in their own backyard to compile an assortment of the most exquisite oddities. You won't find many of them anywhere else because they are all handcrafted and unique to Maure. Presented in a variety of gift boxes, we guarantee the lucky recipient will be overjoyed. Our company's values revolve around environmental responsibility and fair treatment of employees. Everyone should be treated with dignity and fairness and should be able to earn a decent living wage, in our opinion. From a craftsperson who makes beautiful handmade vases out of repurposed clay to a company that makes zero-waste wine bags, we have searched far and low for the most environmentally friendly collaborators and methods.
