After being established in New John Street, Blackheath since the early 1900s, the office relocated to a more prominent position in the High Street in 2011. T Hadley & Co. was then acquired by N. E. Downing (Blackheath) Ltd. in October 2016. Les Hadley was the cousin of Doris Downing, wife of Norman Eric, so it seems fitting that the two companies are together again.
