The Orangery is one of Cornwall’s most historic and exclusive wedding venues, nestled in 865 acres of land at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. Steeped in heritage and surrounded by pebbled beaches and rugged coastline, the venue is a short journey from Plymouth. Built in 1775, this 100ft venue basks in elegance and beauty with its floor to ceiling windows and doors, offering magical views of the water fountain and Italian gardens. This breath taking setting and enchanting venue can provide the perfect canvas for your dream wedding reception. The Orangery has the capacity for 200 guests and can offer dinner seating for 40-120 guests, with delicious homemade dishes created by our in-house chefs. We offer options for formal dining (Round tables and white linens) or informal dining (Rectangular, rustic wooden tables). The bar, dance floor, band area and DJ area are set at the opposite end to the dining area, so the venue flawlessly moves from day to night without interruption. Your guests can sit and relax or dance the night away! If you wish, you can escape to the Italian garden to sip Pimms and lemonade in the sunshine or toast champagne under the stars. The Italian garden is yours for the duration of your event and offers gorgeous outdoor seating for up to 50 guests. We hope to meet with you in the near future!
